This popper works fairly well. Almost all the corn pops. The only problem is getting the lid to snap on right. It takes a while to get everything in place. The lid does not close tight after first use but still works. It cleans up okay and if anything gets burnt on the bottom, it scrubs clean with an S.O.S pad. I would recommend this product to anyone that likes to make popcorn the old fashioned way. It saves your burner and pan from scratches.

I opted for this aluminum popper instead of the stainless steel. Lesson learned. It does pop almost all of the corn. It's kind of fun to use. Guests and kids think it's cool. The popcorn it makes sure does taste good. Fits in the dishwasher.

The lid fits properly for about the first week, then never again. Occasionally I have to fiddle with the gears to get it going again. The thin aluminum pan has become warped and no longer heats evenly.

You get what you pay for.
